Social Operations privacy and deletion notice

Effective September 18, 2026.

Scope and operator

Presence Plus Marketing LLC operates Social Operations at social.presenceplus.marketing. This notice covers that application. The public marketing website's separate privacy notice does not describe the application's essential sign-in cookies.

Information used

When an authorized business operator connects an account through Meta, Social Operations receives the permissions, account identifiers, account names and access credentials needed to connect the designated Facebook Page and linked Instagram professional account. It processes business content, approved images, captions, approvals, publication identifiers, public post links, verification results and operational audit records. Staff sign-in information and security records support authorized access.

Purposes

We use this information to connect the requested accounts, prepare and approve business content, publish authorized posts, verify the results, troubleshoot failures and maintain operational records. Connecting an account does not approve content or authorize publication by itself. The current integration does not provide direct-message handling, comment moderation or advertising management.

Cookies and security

Social Operations uses essential sign-in, request-security and temporary account-connection cookies. It encrypts stored Meta access credentials separately from the application database and restricts application access to authorized users. No system can guarantee complete security.

Service providers and records

Hostinger provides the application hosting infrastructure. We use Notion for approved business/content records and operational evidence, and GitHub for application development and technical evidence. Only necessary records should be shared with these services; passwords, access tokens and application secrets must not be included in those records. Service providers may process information where their systems and authorized support personnel operate. A complete processor-location inventory must be maintained separately.

Retention

We retain information only while needed to provide the authorized service or for documented security, legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. A deletion review identifies which records can be removed and which, if any, must be retained, with the reason recorded. Retention is not indefinite merely because a record is in an audit log. Backup copies require separate handling; a restored copy must not reactivate a disconnected account or restore deleted information to ordinary use.

Disconnection and deletion requests

Email ginny@presenceplus.marketing with the subject “Social Operations data request.” Include the business name, the affected Facebook Page or Instagram handle, and whether you want to disconnect the account, delete application data, or both. Do not send passwords, verification codes or access tokens.
We confirm your authority over the affected account before making changes. Disconnecting stops the application's use of that connection; deletion is a separate review of stored information. We will explain the result and any information that must be retained and why. This is a manually handled request process, not an automatic deletion button.
Removing data from Social Operations does not itself delete posts already published on Facebook or Instagram or data held independently by Meta. Requests about public posts are handled separately with the authorized business owner.
